Cindy Luntley - Physiotherapist
Cindy Luntley has been a practising physiotherapist since 1987. She qualified in the UK and followed this with a 4-year postgraduate training program. She is registered with the Alberta College of Physical Therapists
She has actively pursued further education in physiotherapy throughout her career and is a McKenzie certified therapist. This is an internationally recognized qualification in the treatment of spinal pain and is held by only a few therapists in Western Canada.
She is also Bobath Trained for the treatment of neurological conditions and has extensive experience working with clients with neurological impairment. She uses this experience to give a comprehensive analysis of the muscle imbalances that are often present after injury and plan a rehabilitation program. She also worked on a neurosurgical unit treating pre and post operative patients for spinal surgery.
When not working or taking care of her family Cindy enjoys the active lifestyle of Alberta - cycling, hiking, skiing,kayaking. Cindy has trained in golfing related injuries and is a “Fit for Golf” trained practitioner. She has good working relationships with the local cycling community and can work with local bike specialists to prevent and treat cycling related injuries.
